Milapfest present their annual showcase of Indian orchestral and choral music, and their signature modern, classical style. The concert features two landmark ensembles, who together create a rare and special musical phenomenon full of bright young stars of Indian Music. Celebrate India! is a concert that marks the 2017 UK-India Year of Culture, and the musical direction features compositions which are nostalgic, emotional and uplifting. Featuring bright percussion, beautiful melodies and soulful singing Samyo and Sabrang take inspiration from the rich depth and variety of Indian musical culture, for this landmark event in England’s cultural calendar.
