What’s been happening this week?

What hasn’t more like! Between Music India and Indika, we’ve had a packed schedule of training and performance with top artists from the Indian Classical Music genre. We kicked off the week with the arrival of some really incredible artists such as Shashank Subramaniam, Rakesh Chaurasia, Ranajit Sengupta and Lalgudi GJR Krishnan, along with the arrival of the ever animated Samyo and Tarang on Saturday. Opening the week’s performances for Indika festival, Samyo and Tarang gave it all they’ve got and gave us a really exciting opening to the festival. The young musicians impressed their tutors with some great renditions of new and classic compositions!
