The Art of Critical Writing

Sanjoy Roy dance critic for the Guardian, gives a lecture followed by an interactive workshop on critical writing for dance. Aimed at developing skills in observing, planning and writing for reviews, interviews and features, participants will have the opportunity to watch, discuss and write about dance clips on film.

Following the workshop participants will have the opportunity to watch the premiere performance of Sonia Sabri Company’s brand new work KAAVISH at the Capstone Theatre. Participants wishing to exercise their new skills can review the show and receive feedback from workshop leader, Sanjoy Roy. Tickets to this performance are available on-line HERE.
