Padma Shri Leela Samson, one of the most outstanding and prominent figures in the arts, is a Bharatanatyam dancer whose immense grace, agility, poise and technical virtuosity have wowed audiences the world over.  Having been a top performer and teacher for many years, Leela was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri award by the President of India for her significant contribution to the arts.  She now heads three extremely important art organisations in India;  the world-renowned Kalakshetra Foundation, the Sangeet Natak Akademi and the Central Board of Film Certification.

Sanjukta Sinha, is a young and upcoming Kathak dancer representing the new generation of artistes in India. A student of Padma Bhushan Smt. Kumudini Lakhia, Sanjukta is a versatile dancer who enjoys experimentation and pushing the envelope of classical dance through the use of new movements, dimensions, space and speed while keeping the traditional framework of Kathak in tact.
