Join sitarist and composer Jonathan Mayer and tabla maestro Kousic Sen for a fun, interactive concert designed for primary school children.
Jonathan Mayer has performed and composed across a wide range of musical genres, blending Indian and Western classical traditions. His distinctive style is shaped by his deep musical training and his studies in composition with his father, the late Indo-Jazz legend John Mayer.
Performing alongside him, Kousic Sen is a tabla virtuoso who has captivated audiences around the world with his incredible precision, versatility, and vibrant performances.
Kids will explore Indian rhythmic patterns, see these extraordinary instruments up close, and get a chance to join in with the music by clapping, chanting rhythms, and counting along with Jonathan and Kousic. A perfect introduction to Indian music for curious young listeners and the whole family!
