Dr Subhadra Desai is a Hindustani vocalist known for her contemplative melodies. For this performance, her stunning vocals will be elevated to new heights by the percussion mastery of Kousic Sen and rising star Rekesh Chauhan on harmonium.

Dr Subhadra Desai is a musician, researcher and academic, as well as an empanelled artist with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and an accredited A Grade artist at All India Radio. She has composed music for ancient Sanskirt and Pali texts in classical Ragas and has performed in venues across the globe.
Kousic Sen provides a unique rhythmic heartbeat to any concert experience in a style that is uniquely his own. Known across the globe as a master collaborator, he has performed with some of the top names in Indian Classical music. Rekesh Chauhan is a multi-talented musician. In today’s performance he will be playing the harmonium but he is also known for his mastery of the piano. He released his debut album Beyond Roots with the support of Milapfest in 2015.
