Milapfest presents the annual competition performance to find the next ‘Young Musician of the Year’ for Indian classical arts.

Taking place over two nights, The Yuva Nritya Ratna and Yuva Sangeet Ratna Awards see twelve highly talented contestants perform before a distinguished panel of world class artistes, with the winners of each award to be announced at the end of each evening.

The Yuva Ratna Awards recognise and applaud the talented youth who have dedicated themselves to the practice, preservation and promotion of Indian classical arts in the UK and beyond.

Performing for the Yuva Sangeet Ratna – Young Musician of the Year Award:

Following the Sangeet Ratna competition performances, Hindustani vocalist, Sawani Mudgal performs accompanied by tabla maestro Kousic Sen and Harmonium player Rekesh Chauhan.
