Milapfest Founder and Executive Director Retires After 35 Years

Milapfest Founder and Executive Director Retires After 35 Years

2019 marks a significant new era for Milapfest. Our Executive Director and founder Prashant Nayak retired at the start of this year after over 35 years of tireless and invaluable work at our organisation.

Today we were able to celebrate that work as we welcomed Arts Council England‘s Chief Executive Darren Henley to present Prashant with a small token of the organisation’s appreciation of his service.

The team and trustees, past and present, want to take this opportunity to publicly thank Prashant for his dedication. We welcome our friends to share their memories of Milapfest over the years in celebration of Prashant’s work.

We are excited to enter our new stage, although we know Prashant will still be a consistent presence in the work we do (alongside enjoying some much deserved free time in his retirement!).
