MoreShashank’s main style is Carnatic Classical but he also incorporates patterns of improvisation from Hindustani music and uses a range of flutes to cover octaves that are not supported by the traditional Carnatic Flute. Shashank is known for his intricate and intense raag renditions.
MoreRakesh Chaurasia stormed on to the Indian music scene as a child prodigy under the guidance of his uncle, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. The most accomplished of his disciples, Rakesh shows all the promise to carry the Chaurasia legacy to brilliant new heights. Rakesh is renowned for his ability to play the bansuri (bamboo flute) in live performances all over the world.
