Our next season begins on Saturday 25th of January at The Capstone Theatre with a dual event of music and dance featuring 2013’s Ratna Award winners Apoorva Jayaraman and Angira Kotal. Bharatanatyam dancer Apoorva performs a programme of classical pieces and new choreographies by Priyadarsini Govind, and Angira performs a classical programme of Hindustani vocal music. In February, bansuri flautist Pravin Godkhindi performs a classical Hindustani concert accompanied by world renowned tabla artist, Kousic Sen. This concert marks Pravin’s first concert for Milapfest, and we’re delighted to be welcoming him on his first visit to Liverpool.
