Worldwide response to Instruments India Composition Commission

A new Composition commission project launched this Summer by Liverpool Hope University and Milapfest has received a total of 55 applications from all over the world.

Milapfest and Liverpool Hope University at the EMS Conference, Lisbon

Milapfest and Liverpool Hope University presented a major outcome of their partnership work last week in an important conference presented by the Electronic Music Studies (EMS) Network at Lisbon, Portugal.

New Shruti for sarod and electronics

As part of an on-going collaborative project between Manuella Blackburn and Milapfest, Manuella has been working with sarod player, Dr Rajeeb Chakraborty to develop a mixed electro-acoustic piece for sarod and tape.
