Raised in a musical family, he continues to take the legacy further by showcasing the beauty and intricacy of the Santoor; one of India’s most treasured stringed instruments.
Kousic Sen, Milap’s artist-in-residence is a tabla player well known for his rhythmic mastery, whose intense and energetic performances continue to add dimensions to traditional concert experiences throughout the world’s most famous venues and festivals. Born into a musical family, Kousic is the proud representative of the Banaras Gharana and is one of the foremost tabla players of his generation.
