On Saturday, 4th November, audiences can enjoy a musical soundtrack featuring Indian artist and DJ, Pritpal Ajimal – better known as swayoftheverses, and DJ Richie Vegas. Attendees can savour the extraordinary flavours of Indian cuisine alongside a blend of contemporary Indian grooves, with a fusion that sets the tone for a Saturday night done right at Bundobust.
Come for the flavours, and stay for the rhythms from DJ Pritpal Ajimal. Having pursued a mission since the beginning of 2022 to introduce Indian Raga Music to more listeners via his shows on NTS, Balamii and Voices Radio, Pritpal carefully curates his music, with the objective of introducing new instruments, musicians, stories and themes.
Bringing the Indo-Jazz vibes to the occasion, DJ Richie Vegas has been playing global sounds across the city for over two decades, most recently showcasing a diverse blend of the dusty and the digital on his monthly Test Match Special radio shows. For Bombay Mix X Indika, he’ll be bringing a selection of the finest Indian-infused Jazz, from the 1960s right through to the present day.
