Featuring world-renowned maestro of the veena, Rajhesh Vaidhya, a live performance of his special debut show at The Tung Auditorium will air on our YouTube channel at 1pm today.

Deemed one of the stars on the Indian Classical music scene, Rajhesh has been mesmerising audiences across the globe since his childhood with his exhilarating speed and use of electric and amplified strings. We were excited to invite him to Liverpool as part of our Autumn 2024 season and his performance was so spectacular that we just had to share it with you all!

Rajhesh was accompanied by powerhouse percussionists including mridangam virtuoso Sai Giridhar, internationally renowned Kousic Sen on the tabla, and British talent Pujenthan Sivagurunathan on the kanjira. Together, the powerhouse ensemble presented ‘Charukesi’ – a captivating set of ragas that blew us away.
