St John’s Gardens, Liverpool
Setting St John’s Garden alight with a colourful and vibrant myriad of Indian music and dance!
Bringing celebrations to an electrifying close, the Feast of Fire stage will be set alight with a myriad of music and dance celebrating the beauty of India. Enjoy the soulful sound of sitar and tabla under the stars as Jasdeep Singh Degun, and percussion master, Kousic Sen, perform a special moonlit Raga, taking you on a journey through classical Indian rhythms. Getting the crowd on their feet will be Bombay Baja, Europe’s Leading Indian Brass Band, whose signature Bollywood sound is sure to have you dancing. The evening will erupt into a dazzling display of Bhangra from the Nachda Sansaar dance group, including a unique, never-before
-seen collaboration with the Bring the Fire Project. This breath-taking display of fire, music and dance is inspired by the destructive and yet creative, cleansing power of fire and will bring the sumptuous colours of India to the heart of Liverpool!
This evening is specially curated by Milapfest, the UK’s leading Indian Arts trust, with support from Liverpool Mental Health Consortium.
