Sudeshna Bhattacharya  – Sarod
Kousic Sen –   Tabla

Milapfest’s Indian classical music series continues with a pioneering musician in an improvised duet on a variety of afternoon ragas or moods.. The Sarod, the distinctive, lute-like instrument popular in Indian music, was the instrument of Sudeshna’s guru Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, and she is one of the few women worldwide to play this instrument. Accompanied by Tabla expert Kousic Sen, this is a rare chance to be inspired and uplifted in the company of two highly skilled artists.
