Roopa Panesar is one of the finest sitar players to have emerged from the UK. A disciple of renowned tutor and performer, Dharambir Singh, Roopa has created a unique musical identity for herself, drawing upon eastern and western influences, giving her the edgy and vibrant style she is known for today. In this concert. she performs music from her debut album, Khoj recorded by Milapfest in 2011. Roopa is accompanied by world renowned tabla maestro, Kousic Sen.
