Anil Srinivasan        piano
Kousic Sen      tabla

Carnatic pianist, Anil Srinivasan, performs his unique style of south Indian music in this relaxing and meditative concert.  A recent addition to the Indian classical music genre, the piano blends beautifully into the raga system and brings an unusual melodic flow to classical pieces. The concert also features highly acclaimed tabla maestro Kousic Sen.

Anil Srinivasan is a musician, innovator and educator, dedicated to developing classical Indian music for a contemporary audience. In his endeavour to define a new aesthetic he has utilised the piano to create a frame for music, a new concept for classical Carnatic music.

Kousic Sen is a versatile and popular table artiste. He is a master accompanist, and has contributed to many highly successful cross-genre projects. He is the Percussion Conductor for Samyo, The National Youth Orchestra for Indian Music, and tabla teacher at Milapfest’s school for Indian Arts, Arts School.
