Sooraj Subramaniam is an extremely talented and versatile artist, skilled in Bharatanatyam, Odissi and Kathak.  As a recipient of the Milapfest Dance Fellowship, Sooraj travelled to India to train with renowned Odissi artiste Madhavi Mudgal. This evening he presents the beautiful work he developed in India. Representing generation next, Prateeksha Kashi is a torchbearer for the classical form of Kuchipudi. Having learnt the form from her mother Vyjayanthi Kashi, Prateeksha has won numerous awards and continues to thrill audiences with her talent and grace.

The second half of the evening features eminent Kuchipudi artiste Vyjayanthi Kashi. With an impressive spectrum of work including performance, choreography, therapy, teaching and research, Vyjayanthi’s dancing reflects a deep, passionate and comprehensive understanding of her art.  Kuchipudi is a form rarely seen in the UK, and this evening sees Vyjayanthi Kashi present a beautiful selection of traditional pieces from the Kuchipudi repertoire.
