A classical concert with a unique blend of Carnatic, Hindustani and Western music traditions. The Carnatic violin of the incomparable Lalgudi GJR Krishnan is combined with the Hindustani sitar of international maestro Gaurav Mazumdar, weaved together with the piano, an instrument rarely heard in Indian music, featuring master collaborator Anil Srinivasan. Each musician is an expert in his field, having mastered their chosen style, all while advancing the traditional modes of collaboration through experimentation and performance. All three musicians will be accompanied by highly acclaimed tabla artist Kousic Sen.
