Prashant Shah, a senior disciple of Padma Bhushan Smt. Kumudini Lakhia, is a critically acclaimed Kathak performer and choreographer, currently based in New York, USA. Prashant’s virtuosic technique enables him to perform a vast repertoire with masculine grace, and a sense of style that has made him one of the outstanding Kathak dancers today.
Anjana Anand is a prolific Bharatanatyam dancer, having trained at the Kalakshetra Foundation. In addition to performing regularly in India and abroad, Anjana is also an extremely talented choreographer and teacher, with her works winning accolades in Sri Lanka, Singapore, the UK and India. Anjana now works in the recently launched Research and Development wing at the Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai.
